The earliest remnant of what would become the Old Testament is the Book Of J. Probably written by Bathsheba around 965 BCE. That would become the Hebrew Bible.


Then the first remnants of what would become the New Testament started to appear about 40 after the death of Jesus. Or supposedly because from some strange reason when the Romans kept detailed records on everything else there are no records on Jesus. And they may or may not have been written by the Disciples. But probably not because everyone was getting in on the act. Many of the Gospels were written anonymously, some of them by women, and the names of the Disciples were slapped on them later to add authority connecting them Jesus.

It was all pretty much one big mess until the Catholic Church stepped in with the Council of Laodicea around 363 AD. Which is where the grand corruption of Christianity happened because Jesus supposedly came to earth to free humans from the wrathful God of the Old Testament. But that didn't give the Church enough power to punish so they slapped the Old Testament and the New Testament together. And also picked and chose which of the Gospels could be in the New Testament. And especially the Gospel of Mary Magdalene couldn't be in there so they not only rejected the Gospel of Mary who may have been Jesus's wife so they also turned her into a prostitute to try and bury her.




So that's how the Bible came to be and the grand corruption of Christianity continues today because if one looks most of evangelicals preached from the old Testament because that gives them the power to judge and punish because Jesus is just way too fucking woke for them.

The Song of the Sea, Exodus 15:1-15:18, commemorates the sinking of the Egyptians in the Red Sea. The Song of Deborah, Judges 5:1-31, commemorates a victory of Israelite tribes over the Canaanites. The Israelites were led by Deborah, who may have written the song.

Both of these were written with an older form of Hebrew than the Book of J, and appear to have been written soon after the actual events.

The author of J may have also written the Court History of David, which is most of 2 Samuel. The Book of J and the Court History of David may have originally been one book.

 

Bible scholars, including non Fundamentalist Bible scholars, believe that Luke and Acts were written by St. Luke, who was a traveling companion of St. Paul. According to Eusebius St. Luke was martyred shortly before the beginning of the Jewish Uprising of 66 to 73 AD.

I have read the Book of Acts several times in translation. Everything in it tells me that it was written when St. Paul was still alive. When it ends he is experiencing a comfortable house arrest in Rome. The reader has been told that he has violated neither the Law of the Jews, nor the Law of the Romans.

That would push the writing of Acts before 66 AD., the writing of Luke even earlier, and consequently the writing of Mark earlier still.

The Gospel of St. John is believed to be the last Gospel written. It mentions a building in the present sense that Josephus said was destroyed in the Jewish Uprising.

Nowhere in the New Testament is there any mention of the Jewish Uprising. Consequently, all of the New Testament may have been written before 66 AD. This would mean that each of the Gospel writers had access to accounts of the ministry of Jesus written before the Crucifixion, and to living eye witnesses to the ministry of Jesus.

MAGA singer Kid Rock on Thursday accidentally wore a Budweiser hat to an interview with Fox News.

Kid Rock, who has frequently aligned with the far-right and was known to interact with Donald Trump during his term in the Oval Office, appeared on The Ingraham Angle, where he was asked about his hat.

The far-right staged a boycott of Anheuser Busch and particularly Bud Light following an ad campaign featuring transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney. Kid Rock helped promote this boycott, but as the outrage died down, he appeared to lose interest in it — and commenters on social media buried him in mockery over it.
