Ever since getting a new CEO at the end of 2024, Starbucks has been on a roll with a lot of changes. Most have been positive, like making the alternative milks free and offering free refills for customers in the café, while other changes turned a few heads, like the new Coffeehouse Code of Conduct and the decision to discontinue some fan-loved drinks

However, even though the brand is moving toward a simplified menu in the cafés, that hasn’t stopped Starbucks from adding to its limited-time menus—or bringing its products to grocery stores.

Starbucks recently released its Iced Cherry Chai and brought back its lavender-infused beverages in stores. Then it launched a selection of beverages to grocery stores nationwide: Crema Collection Instant Coffee, Vanilla Lavender Flavored Coffee, Lavender Latte Flavored Oatmilk Creamer, Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso Flavored Oatmilk Creamer, Caffé Mocha Flavored Zero Creamer, Brown Sugar Cinnamon Flavored Coffee, Mountain Blend, and Sunsera Blend.

Now, the brand is releasing two all-new lines of drink products that will have fans racing to grocery stores to find. This spring, Starbucks is adding new Iced Energy and Frappuccino Lite beverages to its at-home lineup.

Last summer, Starbucks released its version of energy drinks at cafés with the Melon Burst Iced Energy and Tropical Citrus Iced Energy beverages. The tea-based drinks are mixed with Starbucks’ own energy drink and have been on the menu for nearly a year now. With the Iced Energy success at cafés, Starbucks is canning those drinks for the first time, launching a new ready-to-drink energy beverage in three flavors.

The new Starbucks Iced Energy will be available in Tropical Peach, Watermelon Twist, and Blueberry Lemonade flavors, each boasting 160 milligrams of plant-based caffeine, zero grams of sugar, and five calories.

For context, the 12-ounce cans of Iced Energy have slightly less caffeine and calories than the café Iced Energy drinks, which are 10 calories with 180 milligrams of caffeine. The new beverages are a happy medium between Red Bull, which has 80 milligrams of caffeine, and Celsius, which includes 200 milligrams of caffeine.

Along with the all-new energy drinks, for the first time, Starbucks is introducing a lighter version of its fan-loved bottled Frappuccinos. The current line of Coffee, Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla-flavored Frappuccinos each have 32 grams of sugar and upwards of 190 calories per bottle. So, for those looking to cut down, Starbucks' new Frappuccino Lite drinks have no added sugar and 100 calories per 9.5-ounce bottle.

Frappuccino Lite will be available in Sea Salt Caramel, Creamy Vanilla, and Double Chocolate flavors.

Both Starbucks’ Iced Energy and Frappuccino Lite drinks are rolling out to grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, and online retailers nationwide now. With Starbucks’ robust line of at-home coffee and drinks, we’re getting closer and closer to having a full Starbucks café in our own kitchens.
