Two charged with dead teen’s rape for court next month
SAVANNA-LA-MAR, Westmoreland – The two men charged with the rape of the Westmoreland teenager who was murdered last week are to appear before the Savanna-La-Mar Resident Magistrates Court on November 15.
The teenager, Enid Gordon, 15, was strangled and her body buried inside a shallow grave near her home at Content in the parish two weeks ago. Gordon, a student at the Petersfield High School, was still clad in her uniform at the time.
She should have appeared before the RM court last Tuesday in the matter of her reported rape last year. Her alleged rapists, aged 25 and 27, who are also suspects in her murder, had their bails rescinded last Tuesday. They will remain behind bars, at least until their next court appearance next month.
